Professor Bernard Zeigler and RTSync Revive DEVS Student Award with Annual Funding Through 2029

Professor Bernard Zeigler donated his honorarium to re-establish the “DEVS Student Award”. Furthermore, RTSync agreed to provide the funding for the DEVS Student Award ($1,000) on an annual basis until 2029. The academic responsibility for selecting the best papers and determining the award recipients will be with Hessam Sarjoughian and his team in coordination with the SIGSIM Board. Details will follow soon, but the plan is to announce the first award at the Winter Simulation Conference 2025. More details will follow soon.
